Joe Boyd

Originally from Ireland, Joe arrived in Australia in 2000 via London, Dubai and Johannesburg (S.Africa). An Australian citizen since 2008, he now resides on the northern beaches part of Sydney. He has traveled extensively across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia whilst performing regional Finance Director roles for Thomson Reuters. Joe has also run his own Finance advisory business to SME businesses in the Sydney region. Joe is now semi-retired.

His primary skills are in financial reporting and modeling, strategic planning, project implementation, business valuations and M&A work, mentoring and delivery. Through personal experience of having family members and friends with mental health issues, he strongly believes in the Human Nature model of providing help to young disadvantaged people so that they can heal and thrive, using nature as a key part of that process.

He is delighted to be a part of the Human Nature Board, supporting the organisation to build its financial security and position it to expand its services to reach more disadvantaged young people.
